Team Dynamics driver Dan Cammish has put pen to paper and signed a two-year extension to his current deal with Team Dynamics.
Speaking to the Team Dynamics website, Cammish said “I’m over the moon to be extending my contract with the team, they truly are the most professional outfit on the grid. I have to offer my thanks to the whole of Team Dynamics for the support they have given me, particularly my teammate Matt Neal who has been a superb mentor and has given me the confidence and inspiration to do what I do.”
After joining the team at the start of 2018 to replace the WTCR-bound Gordon Shedden, Cammish won twice at Brands Hatch GP on the final weekend of 2018 to end the season 10th in the standings.
2019 has seen Cammish push on in style, and recover from a poor start to the season to be the BTCC’s form man since Thruxton in May, finishing on the podium at every round since. He currently sits second in the 2019 standings, 16 points behind Colin Turkington and firmly in contention for the BTCC title with three races left.
Cammish continued “The Honda Civic BTCC Type R FK8 just gets better and better, the more I drive it the more I realise what a truly competent car it is. This season I have got to grips with the way the car works and that has reflected in my results. I’ll certainly be giving it my all come the final round at Brands to repay the guys for their faith in me”
Before his stint in the BTCC, Cammish was a Porsche Carrera Cup GB champion, winning the title twice in 2015 and 2016 and finshing 3rd in 2017. He also won the 2013 British Formula Ford Championship.
Cammish’s contract extension will keep him at Team Dynamics for another two seasons until at least the end of the 2021 BTCC season.
